The Industrialized Epidemic

The problems that exist on Earth with food shortages, water shortages, population issues, climate change, etc. etc.- these are all real issues and continue to plague mankind. 

There is an insidious epidemic that exists and probably is getting worse that occurs more in industrialized countries. This epidemic is called SITTING. 

In the past 100 years, the amount of sitting that we all do has risen in epidemic proportions. As this issue has continued, there has been more and more research done that proves that "sitting is the new smoking." 

The issues that can occur from sitting on our butts too much are...

1- Effecting our neuro muscular skeletal system as posture effects function

2- It has been shown in recent years that too much sitting can create respiratory issues, circulatory function, lung capacity, neurological transmissions, etc.

So please if you are one of the people that are sitting too much, and you know if you are, get adjusted, change your position more frequently, perhaps get a standing desk, check your ergonomics when you're sitting at your work station and be cognizant of how you sit and for how long.
