Meet the Doctor

Dr. Susan Anderson

Dr. Susan Anderson grew up in Davenport, IA. She graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1989. Following graduation, she had an associateship in Danville, KY at True Chiropractic Clinic. Then from 1990 to 1997 she worked with D. Michael Gandolfi in Charleston, IL and Champaign, IL. In 1997, Dr. Anderson relocated to North Liberty, IA and opened Anderson Chiropractic. She has been actively treating patients for 31 years.

Dr. Anderson has completed extensive training in various methods of chiropractic manipulation including Gonstead and Diversified Technique, Impulse Adjustor and the Activator Method. She utilizes soft tissue/scar tissue therapy in the form of Facial Abrasion Technique and Graston Manual Therapy. She trained for one year in the specialty of Chiropractic Sports Injury Management at the D.I.S.C. Sport and Spine Clinic in Marina Del Rey, CA.

Dr. Anderson has been a North Liberty resident for 24 years. She has 3 children that currently attend college. Her eldest, Keyes, is a senior at ISU majoring in computer software engineering. Her daughter, Josie, a sophomore, at ISU who’s major is industrial design and her daughter, Lily, is a sophomore at UI studying film and theater. Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to Hawkeye games (GO HAWKS!) and concerts and dinning at local restaurants. She is also an avid rock collector, as is evident in our office where you will see some of her collection on display.
