PLANTAR FASCIITIS
Fascia provides support, assists movement, and reduces friction between moving parts. Fasciitis is the inflammation of the thin lining (fascia) that lies between muscle, tendon, and skin. This condition may be acute or chronic. Fasciitis can be caused by chronic overuse, trauma, or infection. Sometimes the cause cannot be determined.
Plantar fasciitis involves an irritation of the arch of the foot. Although 99% of all feet appear normal at birth, by age one 8%, age five 41% and age twenty 80% develop problems. By 40 years of age almost everyone has foot concerns, whether painful or not. Because the feet are the foundation of the body, problems with them can have an impact throughout the body.
Chiropractic care works on relieving pain and correcting complications associated with Plantar Fasciitis.
