COVID-19 Policies and Updates

Schwabe Chiropractic is Accepting New Patients Again!

Please be sure to let us know as soon as possible if you or someone you have been exposed to has symptoms of illness or has a positive COVID-19 test.

Masks are no longer required in the Schwabe Chiropractic office as of Monday, October 10, 2022. Some patients or practitioners may choose to remain masked. We kindly ask that you continue to respect the choices of others as we continue to support you in choosing what is best for you.

If you are an individual who chooses to wear a mask and would feel more comfortable with your Doctor wearing a mask, please let us know. We are happy to do that for you.

Before you come in for your appointment be sure to complete the COVID-19 Screening so we can be sure to do our part to stop the spread. You should receive a link to complete this survey via email on the day of your appointment.

Schwabe Chiropractic works hard to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all our patients. Our staff will remain masked and continue to wipe down all shared spaces and areas to ensure a safe environment for all.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

Schwabe Chiropractic hold firm in our commitment to keeping our community safe and healthy. For that reason, we ask that if you are sick you stay home!

In the event that you start experiencing symptoms, were exposed to, or test positive for COVID-19 we ask that you give us a call to let us know. Our COVID-19 policy states that we must take a 10 day waiting period from the onset of symptoms, test, or exposure, before seeing you. The first day that COVID is indicated considered day 0.

You will never be charged for late COVID cancellation! Our staff will work to get you back in the office as soon as possible based on your particular situation.

Should symptoms develop we strongly encourage you to get a PCR test. PCR tests are more sensitive, meaning they detect smaller amounts of the viral material that an at-home antigen test may miss. With that in mind, if you test positive, the CDC recommends waiting 5 days before using an at-home rapid test. If you continue to test positive, then you are likely still contagious and should continue isolating and wearing a mask in public. If you have a confirmed COVID-19 test and test negative on an at-home test for 2 days you are likely no longer contagious to those around you.
