IASTM/Graston Technique/FAKTR PM

There are many forms of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). Dr. Schwabe has training in Graston Technique and in other concepts such as FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab). She combines the latest research in treating the kinetic chain as well as treating in the position of pain, restriction, and during motion.

IASTM effectively breaks down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments with beveled edges to specifically detect and treat areas of soft tissue fibrosis, adhesion, or chronic inflammation.

Patients typically experience shorter recovery time, increase in range of motion, decrease in pain, and resolution of chronic conditions all while allowing you to continue your normal routine!
